The Land & Climate
The United States is home to many of the world's famous physical features. The two main mountain ranges of the US is the Appalachian Mountains in the east and the Rocky Mountains in the West. The United States has also one of the largest plain areas of the World, nestled in the middle of the country, between the two mountain ranges. Rivers are a major part of the history of the USA. Some of the major rivers are the Mississippi River, Ohio River, and the Rio Grande River. As you can see from the climate map, the United States has a variety to experience. From the warm climate in the south to the frozen land in the far north (Alaska).
Culture
Untied States is impacted by their history when it comes to population. As you can see from the first image above under culture the majority of the citizens in the US live near the coast, especially the eastern seaboard. The United States was colonized by the British along the east coast which allows you to see the direct relationship of high population areas to the past historical events of the US. The second images shows the trend that is currently happening in the US. More and more people everyday are moving to the Sunbelt. This region has attracted many visitors from the north for years for vacation or retirement purposes. Now, the people are not visiting the region but making it their permanent location.
Using the first picture (shows regions of the US) I plan on talking about the cultural set up of the US and how each location offers a variety of cultural experiences but how are we similar. You DO NOT need to go into detail about each region just showcase the variety there is but focus should be US as a whole. Focus on Education, Religion, Sports, Family, and other cultural elements that make up the US. How do you describe the US???
